We met 10 Paris creatives on the street to talk personal style, where they find inspiration, and how they're carrying Away's totes and duffels into the new season.

Parisian women have been the reference point for effortless dressing for decades, and this fall, the city's street style has a new favorite accessory: the travel bag. With trench coats back on every corner of the Marais and suede jackets coming out of storage, the women of Paris are trading their small leather handbags for something that can carry a laptop, a pair of flats, and, occasionally, a dog.
That's where Away comes in. The brand best known for its suitcases also makes totes and duffels designed for life in between trips, and we asked 10 Paris creatives to style them for the new season. Below, see how they wore theirs and the pieces they paired them with.
Fashion moves in the street before it moves online, and we're there to document it. Our team has boots on the ground in the coolest places around the world, tracking what people are actually wearing. Real people, real outfits. That's what makes OOTD.com the go-to source for outfit inspiration.
Anoushka matched her Olive Green Away Signature Companion Bag to the tones of a caped Arket trench and Levi's 578 jeans, then added Jonak pointed-toe boots, Tom Ford sunglasses, and gold Hugo Kreit earrings. "I'd describe my personal style as feminine, effortless and modern, with a mix of timeless pieces and more elevated statement pieces," she says. She built the rest of the outfit around the bag. "It has that timeless feel but still makes a statement, so I wanted to pair it with a simple, polished outfit that would let the bag stand out."
Candice wore the trench the way Parisians do best: open over a white top and black shorts, with slouchy black knee-high boots, a low bun, and dark sunglasses. A Jet Black Away Signature Companion Bag, worn crossbody on its long strap, makes the look weekend-ready.
Suede is one of fall's key textures, and Rawan wore it in a belted Zara jacket over a Ralph Lauren shirt, Levi's flares, and Mango boots, finished with Miu Miu sunglasses and a Chocolate Brown Away Signature Tote. "My personal style is cool and chic at the same time, but still effortless," she says. Her favorite thing about the tote is the inside. "There's space for everything, including your laptop and sunglasses, so it's perfect for travelling but also great for everyday."
Iris went head-to-toe chocolate in a satin Stenströms blouse and Dissh trousers, layering a long Totême trench on top and adding Chanel cap-toe slingbacks and Celine sunglasses. Her Taupe Signature Triple Zip Duffle rides on a Silver Away Carry-On. "High quality items that I can wear for a long time are my focus," she says, and she chose the bag the same way. "I choose the sand colour which makes it timeless as well. For the shoot I decided to style it more autumnal as that's the season we are entering."
If you've ever wondered how to look chic at the airport, take notes from Catarina. A pale trench, black ballet flats, and sunglasses keep it simple, and her Black Away Signature Triple Zip Duffle stacks right on top of a Brown Away Suitcase.
Ambre's look is the most unexpected of the group: a black tee layered over a sheer white long-sleeve, a blue button-down tied at the waist, grey shorts, and grey socks with thong kitten heels. She carried a Black Signature Away Tote and rolled a Chocolate Brown Away Suitcase alongside. The socks-and-heels pairing is one we'll be trying this season.
Esther wore Parisian staples: a light-blue button-down, a navy sweater tied over her shoulders, cuffed dark-wash jeans, and black slingbacks, with a Black Away Signature Triple Zip Duffle resting on a Silver Away Suitcase. "I can be just as inspired by a runway show as I can by someone I pass on the street," she says. She chose the bag for its clean design. "The design is very clean, without an overly visible logo, which makes it easy to wear with so many different styles." As for the color, "I chose black because it's timeless and easy to style."
May styled a white trench with a grey sweater tied at the waist and black mules, and the cutest accessory of all: her puppy! She kept the rest easy with black-framed glasses and her hair pulled back, and spent the afternoon on a café terrace with her Black Away Signature Tote at her side. On the walk home, the tote doubled as a carrier, with a fluffy little face peeking out the top. Laptop, keys, puppy: it fits it all.
Butter yellow is carrying over from summer, and Alizee wore it in a mohair cardigan tied at the waist over a white racerback tank, a chocolate maxi skirt, and white sneakers. A Navy Away Signature Companion Bag balances out the softer palette.
Julie's trench belonged to her grandmother's sister. She wore it over a white Uniqlo tee and grey wide-leg Bershka jeans (a free find in Aarhus, Denmark), with her sister's shoes and a red bandana in her hair. "My personal style is more about how I feel and what “character” I want to give on a day," she says. "I believe that everything is about shape and textures, that's why I have some rules in my head that I follow." She chose the oversized outfit with the Navy Signature Tote in mind. "I chose something very oversized and cosy, cause otherwise the bag would have been so big on me."
From vintage trenches to socks with kitten heels, each of these women made her Away bag look completely her own, and we have a feeling we’ll be spotting a lot more of them around Paris this fall.
