Welcome to April's monthly roundup. Think of it as a highlight reel but for outfits that actually deserve the attention. Each month we will spotlight our favorite looks from the past few weeks: the ones that turned heads, sparked ideas, and maybe even made us a little jealous. OOTD is, of course, your daily dose of outfit inspiration but these are the looks that really had something to say and said it well.

Rising temperatures can only mean one thing: our annual summer fling with Pucci. Yes, it flirted dangerously close to overexposure last season, but this look reminds us why we keep coming back. There’s a certain confidence in leaning all the way in; cotton-candy hues, and a blouse that refuses to be quiet.
Pucci may be loud, but here it feels intentional. This is indeed less a repeat romance and more a well-dressed rekindling.

Who said a wicker basket belongs exclusively in the countryside? Certainly not us. This season, it’s less picnic prop, more city accessory. Equal parts nostalgic and unexpectedly practical. Big enough to carry the essentials (and then some), from your go-to perfume to the backup flats you’ll inevitably need after a few blocks in those charming but deeply unforgiving vintage heels.

To no one’s surprise, the long short remains a personal staple. I’ve written about it endlessly and worn it even more. At this point, it’s less a phase, more a fixture. The appeal is in the contrast: its slightly relaxed, borrowed-from-the-boys shape works best against something softer. A ballet flat, a cropped tee - pieces that bring a bit of balance with a lighter touch.
It’s all there in the styling. Easy, a little offhand, and exactly the kind of cool that doesn’t try too hard.

Jackets linger well into spring. Fabrics lighten and colors soften, and the whole idea of outerwear shifts from necessity to nuance. That’s the promise of a good transitional piece: equal parts practical and intentional.
In cities like Manhattan, where warmth is still a moving target, going without a coat isn’t quite an option. Instead, it’s about choosing layers that meet the moment; functional, yes, but in step with the season rather than stuck between it.

Jackets, galore. Menswear continues to excel in the art of layering. In the spirit of Ralph Lauren’s FW26 mens runway show, there was a clear mix of rugged utility and refined ease. Layered outerwear, equestrian undertones, and rich textural shifts moved from structured tailoring into softer, more lived-in pieces, creating less a single uniform idea of masculinity. Statement outerwear like the bomber, reworked here in a citrus-bright hue, becomes less about utility and more a focal point. This is the kind of piece that signals spring in an instant.
Across all looks, layering is handled with ease. Textures play off each other, patterns are mixed thoughtfully, and nothing feels overworked. It is a reminder that menswear often sets the foundation for styling language across wardrobes more broadly. Giving credit where it is due is not just important, it is long overdue.
