Living in New York requires the ideal walking shoe- one that can handle 20,000 steps a day yet still look effortlessly cool with any outfit. So naturally, we had to find out what the shoe of the season really is. After asking around, the Soho girls all said one thing: the Puma Speedcats. Or, in their words: “the most comfortable and stylish shoe this fall season.” We had to see for ourselves... so this week it’s all about Puma. Here’s what we caught on the streets of Soho.

This touch of chrome is everything, because the girls clearly didn’t leave the metallic trend behind. She’s styling the Speedcat Metallics with a simple taupe trench coat and sleek black capris. For accessories, she kept it crisp: a white headband, classic sunnies, and a black bucket bag. The result? Polished, modern, and totally New York.

Who doesn’t love a brown colorway? We know we do. These Speedcat OGs in Haute Coffee–Frosted Ivory are styled with a perfectly tailored pleated tan skirt and a white and brown baseball-style graphic tee. Preppy meets casual in the best way possible, we never knew we could love pleats this much.

Jamie Alanna Bloom is the Public Relations Coordinator at OOTD. Her experience spans editorial styling and writing, seasonal campaigns, and behind-the-scenes design work, all rooted in a deep love for fashion. She’s especially fond of subtle elegance, and a classic ballet flat, along with the power of a well told style story. She graduated from Syracuse University, and brings a fresh, trend-aware perspective to brand communication and media strategy.

We heard it straight from the girls: the it color of the season is green. We’ll admit, we were hesitant… until we saw this look. She’s wearing the Speedcat WNS in Vine, paired with black capri shorts and accessorized with silver hardware. A crisp white long sleeve is layered under a clean grey tank, topped off with chunky socks and sleek sunnies. We’re officially converted.

The Speedcat OG in Seaglass/Orange Glo might just be the most playful pair of the season. She styled them with a white cargo pant and a teal and olive floral patterned tee, then toned the look down with a brown leather hobo bag. It’s the perfect balance between pattern and neutral, a masterclass in mixing.

Yellow isn’t going anywhere this winter. She’s wearing the Speedcat WNS in Sunny Yellow with a coordinating cardigan and a pop of red from her tank top underneath. On the bottom, washed grey jeans and a chunky belt break up the palette perfectly, creating that just-right harmony between warm and cool tones.

We had to stop for this red combo. It’s bold, confident, and so Soho. She’s rocking the Speedcat OG in For All Time Red with matching red cargo shorts and a simple white button-down. A structured handbag and classic black sunnies finish the look, it’s the color pop we didn’t know we needed this fall.

You can never go wrong with black, especially when you’re spending the day shopping downtown. She’s wearing the Speedcat OG in PUMA Black with a camo tee and low-rise light wash jeans. Comfortable, understated, and perfectly city-approved.
